Named for its first two owners in themid-19th century, the Mowry-Nicholson House (1856) is a fully restored three-story Victorian-style mansion with 13 guest rooms and suites, a common room, dining room, large side porch and a conference room. This inn came close to being demolished in 2001-2002, befire ti was restored and converted to a unique bed and breakfast inn. Listed on the National Historic Register. Holds Three Diamond AAA rating and the Yankee Magazine "Editor's Choice" designations.
